Sendai x Kesennuma GANBAARE Souvenir <Stay without meals>

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, Mitsui Garden Hotel Sendai has been working with the local community to support various forms of reconstruction efforts. During these activities, we had the opportunity to interact with the people of Kesennuma. As a plan perk, we have prepared GANBAARE goods, which are handmade one by one by locals who love Kesennuma. What is GANBAARE? It is a canvas apron workshop in Kesennuma City, where artisans who were no longer able to work in their previous jobs due to the earthquake gather together to create and sell handmade canvas apron products one by one. Handmade products are mainly sold online. In particular, products designed with the original character "Fukahire-chan" and Kesennuma City's official character "Hoya Boya" are popular products with many fans outside the prefecture.
